Start & Sit ADVICE – QB Rankings – Week 10 – Fantasy Football 2009

QB Rankings – Start and Sit QB Rankings – Week 10. QB Rankings are based on the best matchups and highest potential fantasy football point outcomes among all QB for fantasy football teams in Week 10. Use these QB rankings to help you decide which QB to start in Week 10. If you have any comments or questions, you can post in the comment box below the rankings.

Start / Sit – QB Rankings – Week 10

1. Drew Brees – NO = @StL

Anointing Brees as the #1 fantasy QB is a no doubter this week, with a matchup against the lowly St. Louis Rams defense. If the Saints don’t run the ball all day, Brees could be looking at 300-350 passing yards and 3-4 touchdowns.

2. Tom Brady – NE = @Ind

The Colts secondary isn’t terrible, but they are young and fairly inexperienced after losing Bob Sanders and Marlin Jackson for the season. Brady should take full advantage of the rookie DB’s in this game, as it has all the makings of being an offensive shootout. 300-350 passing yards, 3 touchdowns.

3. Peyton Manning – Ind = NE

In a likely shootout with opposing QB Tom Brady, Manning will have a bit tougher of a matchup against the Patriots secondary than what Brady will have against the Colts secondary. Hence the reasoning for Manning getting the #3 ranking at QB this week. Overall, Manning’s stats could resemble Brady’s, only with an interception or two mixed in. 300-350 passing yards, 3 touchdowns.

4. Aaron Rodgers – GB = Dal

Rodgers didn’t have the type of game I expected from him last week, but even with his 3 interceptions, he still managed to throw for 266 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, tally 26 rushing yards and 1 rushing touchdown. All in all, Rodgers just accumulates fantasy football stats period. 250-300 passing yards, 2-3 touchdowns.

5. Kurt Warner – Ari = Sea

While a 5 passing touchdown day isn’t likely again this week, the fact that Warner racked up those stats without Anquan Boldin in the lineup is outstanding news for Warner fantasy owners. Seattle’s secondary isn’t anything special, and even though they intercepted Matthew Stafford 5 times last week, they still let the rookie tally 203 passing yards and 2 touchdowns. I think Warner can do a lot better than that this week against them. 250-300 passing yards, 2-3 touchdowns.
